PL Jobs
Our Mission

Ground Control for global careers

PL Jobs is a borderless job platform built on one belief: if you are qualified, geography should be a logistics problem — not a wall.

PL Jobs began with a simple frustration: existing job boards treated international opportunities as an afterthought. Visa questions were buried in fine print. Salaries were hidden behind "competitive". Remote roles quietly excluded most of the planet in the fifth paragraph of the description.

We started in 2019 with a shared spreadsheet of employers who genuinely sponsored visas, and grew it into a platform that today lists more than 33+ live, human-reviewed roles from over 15,000 companies across 16+ countries and 19 industries — each one carrying a salary range, a work mode, and a clear answer to the question that actually decides whether you should apply: can someone in my situation get this job?

We are a small, distributed company. There is no venture-scale growth mandate pushing us to inflate listing counts, and no paywall waiting for candidates at the moment they are most vulnerable. We make money from employers who post roles and from advertising that sits alongside — never inside — our career library. That business model is deliberate, because it is the only one where our incentives and yours point the same direction.

Alongside the job index, our editorial desk maintains a career library of 38 long-form guides covering resume standards by region, visa and relocation costs, remote work culture, salary negotiation, and interview etiquette across cultures. Those guides exist because a listing alone has never been enough to actually get someone hired abroad.

Figures are refreshed monthly. Listing counts include only roles verified in the last 30 days; expired and unconfirmed postings are removed rather than archived into the total.

What we actually do

Three jobs, done properly

Most job boards do the first of these. We think all three are the job.

1. Find the real openings

We aggregate and receive roles directly from employers, then strip duplicates, expired postings and agency reposts. If a role cannot be traced to a live hiring process, it does not get published.

2. Label them honestly

Every listing carries salary and currency, work mode, contract type, experience level and a visa/relocation tag reviewed for that specific role — not copied from the company's careers page.

3. Explain the path

Our guides cover the parts a listing never tells you: what a German CV needs, what a UAE offer means after tax, how long a Skilled Worker visa really takes, what a Japanese interview expects.

Flight log

Our journey so far

2019
Founded in three time zones

Two engineers and a recruiter, frustrated that every job board treated international roles as an afterthought, started PL Jobs as a spreadsheet of sponsorship-friendly employers shared with friends.

2020
First 10,000 verified listings

As hiring went remote overnight, we launched publicly with employers in 40 countries and a rule we still keep: no listing goes live until a human has confirmed the employer exists and the role is open.

2021
Salary transparency by default

We began rejecting listings without a salary range or a currency. Employers pushed back; candidates thanked us. Today 94% of live listings publish a range.

2022
Visa & relocation tagging

We shipped sponsorship, relocation-support and work-permit tags on every listing — reviewed per role rather than per company, because policies differ by team and office.

2023
Career library launched

Our editorial desk started publishing long-form country and category guides instead of thin SEO filler: resume standards, visa costs, interview etiquette, tax basics.

2024
One million placements

We crossed a million verified hires facilitated through the platform, with the largest growth coming from Gulf, Southeast Asian and Central European markets.

2026
190+ countries, 32 local desks

Local reviewers now sit in 32 cities, which is how we keep regional context — notice periods, visa quotas, salary norms — accurate rather than generalised.

Flight rules

What we stand for

Six principles we use to settle product arguments internally.

Talent has no borders

The best person for a role should not be filtered out by a passport. We index roles that are genuinely open to non-local applicants and label the ones that are not.

Radical transparency

Salary range, currency, work mode and visa status appear on the listing itself — not after an application, and not in a recruiter call.

Free for job seekers, forever

Candidates never pay us, never pay for placement, and never pay to be ranked higher. Employers and advertising fund the platform.

Verified means verified

Every employer is manually reviewed. A listing that cannot be confirmed is removed, even if it is paid for.

Context over volume

We would rather publish 80,000 listings you can trust than 800,000 scraped duplicates that waste your week.

Your data is not the product

We do not sell candidate data. Your profile is shared with an employer only when you choose to apply.

Trust

Editorial & verification standards

How listings get approved, how guides get written, and where advertising fits.

Employer verification

We confirm legal entity details, an official domain, and a named hiring contact before a first listing is published. Repeat employers are re-checked every quarter.

Editorial independence

Guides are written by our editorial desk and reviewed by a regional specialist. Employers cannot buy coverage, edit an article, or influence rankings. Sponsored content, when it appears, is labelled as such.

Sourcing & corrections

Visa, tax and salary claims cite an official source and carry a review date. If something is wrong, email corrections@pljobs.com — we update the article and note the change.

Advertising standards

Display advertising is kept out of the reading area's main flow, never disguised as a job listing, and never allowed to collect data beyond what our privacy policy describes.

How we make moneyPL Jobs earns revenue from employer job postings and featured placements, from employer subscription plans, and from display advertising shown alongside editorial content. Featured listings are always labelled. Advertising never determines which jobs appear in search results, and advertisers have no access to candidate profiles or applications. Job seekers pay nothing, at any stage.

Frequently asked questions

Is PL Jobs free for job seekers?+

Yes — completely, permanently free. Searching, saving jobs, applying, job alerts and every guide in our career library cost nothing. We never charge for placement or for priority in search results.

Are the job listings real?+

Every employer is manually reviewed before their first listing goes live, and re-checked quarterly. Listings that cannot be traced to an active hiring process are removed. If you find a suspicious posting, use the report link on the listing and we investigate within 24 hours.

How do the visa and relocation tags work?+

Tags are reviewed per role, not per company, because sponsorship budgets differ between teams and offices. A tag reflects what the hiring team confirmed to us at the time of publication — always verify specifics with the employer before making plans.

Who writes your career guides?+

Our in-house editorial desk, with review from a specialist in the relevant region. Employers cannot commission, edit or approve articles. Any sponsored piece is clearly labelled.

Do you sell my data?+

No. We do not sell candidate data. Your profile and résumé are shared with an employer only when you choose to apply to their role. Details are in our privacy policy.

How can I report an error?+

Email corrections@pljobs.com for editorial errors, or support@pljobs.com for anything about a listing or your account. We reply within one business day.
