Terms of Service

Effective 1 March 2026 · Last reviewed 1 March 2026

Summary: PL Jobs is free for job seekers and paid for employers who post roles. Be honest, don't scrape or abuse the platform, and understand that we verify employers but cannot guarantee any hiring outcome. Full terms below.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and PL Jobs ("PL Jobs", "we", "us") and govern your access to and use of our website, job listings, career library, job alerts and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, posting a listing, applying to a role or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create a job seeker account, and at least 18 and authorised to bind your organisation to create an employer account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@pljobs.com if you suspect unauthorised access. One person may not maintain multiple job seeker accounts to manipulate rankings, alerts or applications.

2. What PL Jobs is — and is not

PL Jobs is a listing and discovery platform. We are not an employer, recruitment agency, employment agency of record, immigration adviser, or legal or tax adviser. We do not participate in hiring decisions, interviews, contract negotiation, visa applications or salary payments. Nothing on the Service — including our career guides — constitutes legal, immigration, financial or tax advice. Always confirm requirements with the employer and with a qualified professional or the relevant government authority.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit false, misleading, plagiarised or fraudulent information, including fabricated work history or fake listings;
  • post content that is unlawful, discriminatory, harassing, hateful, defamatory, obscene or infringing;
  • post listings that require candidates to pay a fee, purchase training, send money, or share financial or identity documents as a condition of applying;
  • scrape, crawl, spider, harvest or bulk-download content, or use automated tools to access the Service without our written permission;
  • bypass or attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, paywalls or security measures;
  • send spam or unsolicited marketing to users you find through the Service;
  • reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or republish the Service or substantial parts of our listing database;
  • upload malware, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.

4. Job listings and employer obligations

Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and currency of their listings, including salary ranges, work location and mode, contract type, and any visa sponsorship or relocation statements. Employers must comply with all applicable employment, equal-opportunity, advertising and data protection laws in every jurisdiction where they recruit, must handle candidate data only for the purpose of the role advertised, and must remove or notify us of listings that are no longer open.

We verify employer identity and, where a listing carries a sponsorship or relocation tag, we confirm that claim with the hiring contact before publication. Verification is a good-faith check, not a guarantee. We may edit formatting, reclassify categories, decline, suspend or remove any listing at our discretion — including paid listings — where we believe these Terms have been breached or a listing may mislead candidates. Removal for breach does not entitle the employer to a refund.

5. Applications and candidate content

When you apply to a role, your profile, résumé and answers are transmitted to that employer, who then processes them under its own privacy practices. We cannot control, retrieve or delete data once an employer holds it, and we cannot compel an employer to respond to you. You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant PL Jobs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and transmit it solely to operate and improve the Service.

6. Fees, payments and refunds

The Service is free for job seekers. There is no charge to search, save jobs, receive alerts, apply or read our career library, and we never charge for placement or for higher visibility in candidate search results.

Employers pay for job postings, featured placements and subscription plans at the prices shown at checkout, exclusive of applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same term unless cancelled before the renewal date, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Unused portions of a posting credit or subscription term are non-refundable except where required by law or where a listing was removed due to our error. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting billing@pljobs.com may result in account suspension.

7. Advertising and third-party links

The Service displays advertising from third parties and links to external websites, including employer career pages. We do not endorse, control or accept responsibility for third-party content, products, hiring practices or privacy practices. Advertising placement does not influence job search ranking. Featured or sponsored content is labelled as such.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including our name, logo, design, code, editorial content and the compilation and structure of our listing database, is owned by PL Jobs or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view and share our content for personal, non-commercial use with attribution and a link. Any other reproduction, republication, systematic extraction or commercial reuse requires our written permission.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@pljobs.com identifying the work, the material's location, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief, and a statement that the information is accurate. We remove or disable infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers.

10. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time from your dashboard or by emailing support@pljobs.com. We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that listings are error-free, that any role remains open, that any application will receive a response, that any interview or offer will result, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure. Any salary, tax, cost-of-living, visa timeline or currency figure shown is an estimate for orientation only.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PL Jobs and its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, relocation expenses, visa or immigration costs, or reputational harm, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD 100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold PL Jobs harmless from claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable legal fees arising from your content, your listings, your hiring or application conduct, or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.

14. Dispute resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact legal@pljobs.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any remaining dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, USA, and you consent to their jurisdiction — except that consumers in the EU, UK and other jurisdictions with mandatory local protections retain the right to bring proceedings in their place of residence.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service and the law evolve. Material changes take effect 30 days after we post them on this page or notify you, whichever is later. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the revised Terms.

16. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.
